Bengaluru, May 2 -- Amid renewed buzz over a possible leadership transition in Karnataka, Home Minister G Parameshwara on Saturday said Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President DK Shivakumar's aspiration to become Chief Minister was "natural," even as he denied having any knowledge of discussions within the Congress high command on the issue.
Parameshwara's remarks assume significance against the backdrop of intensifying speculation over a power-sharing arrangement in the ruling Congress, fuelled by recent political meetings and Shivakumar's "muhurta" remark that triggered fresh debate over a possible change of guard in the state.
