Bhubaneswar, Feb. 26 -- The Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (MoPSW) has approved the development of a dedicated 4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) jetty at Paradip Port Authority for handling green hydrogen, ammonia and other liquid cargo, at an estimated cost of Rs.797.17 crore.

The project will be implemented on a build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis and is aligned with the objectives of the National Green Hydrogen Mission.

Officials said the initiative is expected to boost green energy infrastructure investments in Odisha while strengthening port-based logistics for clean energy commodities.
