Bhubaneswar, Aug. 21 -- Paradip Port, the lone majort of Odisha, is set for a major infrastructure and capacity expansion with projects worth over Rs 2,000 crore aimed at modernising cargo-handling facilities, improving connectivity and navigation, and enhancing operational efficiency.
The Paradip Port Authority (PPA) on Friday signed concession agreements for three mechanisation projects involving Rs 1,580.36 crore, while union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated seven infrastructure projects worth Rs 427.80 crore at the port.
