Dharamshala, July 22 -- Former Dharamshala Mayor Devendra Jaggi on Wednesday expressed concern over the alleged paper leak cases and police action against protesting students in Delhi, saying such developments were worrisome for the future of democracy and had left the country's youth insecure about their future.

In a statement, Jaggi alleged that repeated examination paper leaks had shattered the faith and aspirations of millions of students, while those responsible were yet to face stringent action. He said students were bearing the consequences of repeated exam cancellations and delays in recruitment despite years of hard work.
