New Delhi, June 21 -- Delhi Capitals are reportedly set to bring back former captain Rishabh Pant ahead of IPL 2027, with Lucknow Super Giants likely to acquire spinner Kuldeep Yadav in a blockbuster trade that could become the first player swap of the new season.
Pant joined LSG for a record Rs 27 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction after ending his long association with Delhi Capitals. However, his two-year stint with the Lucknow franchise failed to produce the desired results.
According to reports, Pant is expected to return to DC for Rs 15 crore, while Kuldeep, who is valued at Rs 13.25 crore, will head to LSG. The financial details are still being finalised, and the trade will require official ratification from the BCCI.
