Panel to probe charges of vehicle registration based on forged papers in Himachal

Bilaspur, Jan. 22 -- The Directorate of Transport, Himachal Pradesh, has formed a committee to investigate complaints about the alleged registration of vehicles based on forged documents at the Registration and Licensing Authority (RLA) in Bilaspur district.

The committee will function under the chairmanship of the Secretary, State Transport Authority, Himachal Pradesh.

Tilok Chand, Deputy Manager (IT), Directorate of Transport, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-4, and Pankaj Singh, Senior Motor Vehicle Inspector, RTO Office Shimla, have been nominated as members of the committee.
