Chandigarh, Aug. 20 -- The Punjab and Haryana High Court will get nine new judges, including Haryana Advocate General Pravinder Singh Chauhan, after the central government cleared their appointments following approval by the President.

The union Law Ministry issued the notification on the appointments. Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal also announced the development.

The nine appointees are Monica Chhibber Sharma, Harmeet Singh Deol, Pravinder Singh Chauhan, Rajesh Gaur, Pooja Chopra, Sunish Bindlish, Minderjit Yadav, Divya Sharma and Ravinder Malik.
