Panchkula, June 2 -- In a major crackdown on cybercrime, the Cyber Police Station of Panchkula has unearthed an alleged international online fraud network operating from a fake call centre in Sector-2 market and detained 21 persons in connection with the case.
Acting on a specific intelligence input, a police team conducted a late-night raid at an office operating under the name "Alpha Event Company" and exposed what investigators describe as a sophisticated cyber fraud operation targeting foreign nationals, particularly citizens of the United States.
