Panchkula, June 3 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) has initiated a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the photo electoral rolls in Haryana with July 1, 2026 as the qualifying date, and the exercise is set to begin in Panchkula district with extensive door-to-door verification by Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma today said the revision programme is being carried out as per the directions of the Election Commission to ensure that electoral rolls remain accurate, updated and error-free.
