Panchkula (Haryan), June 26 -- The Municipal Corporation of Panchkula has launched a structured mechanised road sweeping plan, deploying two truck-mounted sweeping machines to cover major roads and markets across the city on a rotational schedule, officials said.
The civic body said the initiative aims to improve urban sanitation and to ensure systematic cleaning of major arterial roads, market fronts and sector-dividing roads across the city ahead of Swachh Survekshan 2025-26.
The civic body has assigned dedicated officers to monitor their performance and execution.
