Panchkula, Sept. 9 -- Taking a tough view of pending cases under government-sponsored schemes, Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma has directed banks and concerned departments to clear all pending work within 15 days and ensure that eligible beneficiaries, particularly in rural areas, are enrolled in maximum numbers.
Chairing a meeting of the District Level Review Committee at the Mini Secretariat, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the performance of banks and the progress of several government-sponsored schemes.
