Bengaluru, May 27 -- In a significant push towards addressing micronutrient deficiencies and strengthening India's food fortification ecosystem, Panchamrutha Industries Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with Millers for Nutrition powered by TechnoServe and key industry stakeholders, on Wednesday launched its new fortified rice product "Panchamrutha Deluxe Fortified Rice" in Karnataka.
The new fortified rice range is enriched with nine essential micronutrients, including vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6 and B12, along with iron, folic acid and zinc, aimed at combating widespread "hidden hunger" and improving daily nutritional intake through a widely consumed staple food.
