Daltonganj (Jharkhand), June 7 -- The Palamu Tiger Reserve (PTR) has launched a survey of water sources across its forest areas to assess water availability and monitor wildlife movement during the peak summer season.

Forest personnel have been deployed to document the condition and distribution of natural and artificial water sources and collect data on animal activity around them.

PTR officials said the exercise is aimed at generating reliable information on water availability during extreme summer conditions and understanding the dependence of wildlife on various water sources.
