Prayagraj, Aug. 6 -- In a major relief for Pakistani woman Saba Masood, the Allahabad High Court on Thursday granted her bail in a case related to alleged fake documents and a voter ID.
Saba Masood, who is currently in jail, had been living in Meerut for the past 35 years.The order was passed by a single bench of Justice Krishna Kumar Pahal after the charges of possessing fake documents against her were not proven.
Her husband had already been granted anticipatory bail by the High Court in April this year.
A woman named Ruksana had filed an FIR in February 2026 at Delhi Gate Police Station in Meerut, accusing Saba Masood of living in India illegally.
