Bengaluru, July 11 -- Karnataka Police have arrested a Pakistani woman and her son for allegedly staying illegally in India after their visas expired, uncovering what investigators suspect could be a wider identity document racket after recovering Aadhaar, voter identity, ration cards and other Indian documents from their possession.

The arrests were made by Bagepalli police in Chikkaballapur district. The accused have been identified as Farhanaz, a Pakistani national, and her son Mohammad Fardeen Khan, who had been living in Dasagarepalli village.
