Islamabad/Herat, March 2 -- Pakistani fighter aircraft were reportedly seen flying over the skies of Afghanistan's Herat Province, carrying out patrols against Taliban posts on Sunday night.

Simultaneously, a Taliban official reported an attack on Pakistani positions at the Angoor Ada border crossing in the Barmal district of Paktika Province, reports Afghan International.

Ahmadullah Muttaqi, head of the Taliban government's ministry for information and culture, posted a video on X that he said showcased Taliban fighters carrying out attacks against Pakistani positions at Angoor Ada. The footage shows Taliban fighters using heavy weapons at night against what were described as Pakistani military posts.
