Islamabad, April 28 -- The Pakistan military's newly created Army Rocket Force Command conducted a successful training launch of the country's indigenously developed Fateh-II missile system on Tuesday.

Releasing an official statement, the military's media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Fateh-II was "equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigation aids", adding that the training launch was aimed at troop training, validating technical parameters, and evaluating the performance of different sub-systems incorporated for "improved accuracy and enhanced survivability".
