Islamabad, Sept. 10 -- Pakistan's Foreign Office said Thursday that "more time is needed" to implement the Makkah Defence Pact between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye, as Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia continue.
The trilateral agreement provides for collective defence if any of the three countries comes under armed attack.
Addressing a weekly press briefing, the Foreign Office spokesperson Sajjad Haider Khan said that Pakistani forces were currently present in Saudi Arabia for training and logistical purposes, with further aspects of the defence cooperation set to emerge on due course.
