New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Pakistan's participation in next month's hockey Asian Champions Trophy in India is yet to be confirmed, with the national federation awaiting governmentclearance for the team's travel.

Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) chief Mohyuddin Ahmed Wani said the federation would abide by the government's decision on the team's participation in the tournament, to be held in Punjab from October 27 to November 5.

"The visit of the Pakistan team will depend on government clearance. We will do whatever the government asks us to do," Wani said, according to Pakistan's Dawn newspaper.
