New Delhi, Feb. 27 -- Pakistan has reportedly launched Operation Ghazab lil-Haq against the Afghan Taliban after "unprovoked firing" from across the border, with State broadcaster PTV News reporting that the armed forces of Pakistan have carried out air strikes and targeted Afghan Taliban's important military installations in Kabul, Kandahar and Paktia.

In those strikes, two brigade headquarters have been destroyed in Kabul while one corp headquarter and one brigade headquarter have been destroyed in Kandahar, the state broadcaster has reported.

"The Pakistan armed forces are fully prepared for any aggression and possess the capability to deliver a befitting response," the broadcaster quoted security sources as saying.
