Chandigarh, March 2 -- A horrific incident has come to light in the Ashiana Colony area of Amritsar, where a young painter was allegedly murdered while demanding his hard-earned wages.
The deceased, identified as Gurjit Singh, was a professional painter who supported his family through daily labor. According to family members, Gurjit had completed a painting assignment at a residence in Ashiana Nagar but had not been paid for approximately 25 days of work.
