Thiruvananthapuram, July 2 -- Senior public relations officer P. Shyamkumar has assumed charge as the Additional Director of the General and Administration Wing of Kerala's Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department.
Shyamkumar brings with him decades of experience in government communication and public administration. He served as the Additional Private Secretary to the Minister for Information and Public Relations between 2011 and 2016 and was also posted in the Chief Minister's Office in 2006.
During his career, he has held the position of Public Relations Officer at the State Election Commission, the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, and the Kerala State Housing Board.
