Hyderabad, April 24 -- All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President and Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday criticised investigative agencies following the discharge of four accused in the 2006 Malegaon blasts case by the Bombay High Court.
In a post on X, Owaisi said the blasts, which claimed 31 lives and injured over 300, had targeted Muslims, but the initial investigation led to the arrest of nine Muslims who were later acquitted in 2016.
He alleged that the case reflected a pattern similar to other blast investigations and said the victims had been denied justice.
He also referred to the court's observations criticising the probe conducted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
