Amravati, Jan. 4 -- All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president and Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi challenged the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to present official data in Parliament on alleged cases of "love jihad," sharply responding to recent remarks made by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Addressing a press conference in Amravati, Owaisi questioned the factual basis of the claims and demanded that the BJP-led government place on record the number of such cases reported over the last 11 years, along with a clear legal definition of the term.
