Bijnore, June 30 -- All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi launched a sharp attack on the Samajwadi Party, alleging it practises "Yadavism" rather than socialism, while also signalling openness to pre-poll alliances ahead of upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh.

Addressing a public meeting at the "Paigam-e-Ittehad" event in Najibabad, Owaisi said political parties have long denied Muslims leadership opportunities and urged the community to move beyond being treated only as voters.
