Chennai, July 19 -- Over 7,000 runners, including several defying their age, enthusiastically took part in the 15th Hexaware Dream Runners Half Marathon 2026 on Sunday marking a grand celebration of fitness, endurance and community spirit.
The 21.1 km Half Marathon was flagged off from Napiers Bridge on the Marina bech front by P. Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, T. Nagar District, Greater Chennai City Police (GCCP). More than 2,500 runners participated in the Half Marathon category.
It was followed by the 10 km race which was flagged off by Ms. K. Bhavaneeswari, Inspector General of Police, Singapenn Special Force, which saw participation of over 4,500 runners.
