Hyderabad, April 5 -- The Hyderabad Traffic Police conducted a two-day special drive on April 3 and 4 against drunken driving, booking a total of 464 offenders for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Of these, 408 were two-wheeler riders, 30 were three-wheeler drivers, and 26 were four-wheeler and other vehicle drivers. Officials said the highest number of cases fell in the 51-100 BAC range (194 cases), followed by 30-50 (93), 101-150 (93), 151-200 (55), 201-250 (18), 251-300 (7), and above 300 (4) cases.
Meanwhile, Cyberabad Traffic Police, during a weekend special drive, caught 205 offenders. Among them, 170 were two-wheeler riders, eight three-wheeler drivers, and 27 four-wheeler drivers.
