Shimla, July 31 -- Over 64,000 patients in the Shimla parliamentary constituency received cashless treatment worth Rs 102.90 crore under the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) during the last three years, while Himachal Pradesh now has 2,845 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, the Centre informed the Lok Sabha on Friday.
The information was provided by union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Prataprao Jadhav in a written reply to a question raised by Shimla MP Suresh Kumar Kashyap regarding the implementation of AB-PMJAY, health insurance coverage, Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
