New Delhi, Nov. 22 -- Police in Southwest Delhi have arrested 42 individuals as part of a special drive against cybercrime for their alleged involvement in multiple interstate fraud schemes that reportedly defrauded victims of over Rs 254 crore, an official said on Saturday.

The police carried out the arrests during 'Operation CyHawk' raids, registering 23 FIRs and linking the accused to 377 NCRP complaints.

During the raids, authorities recovered three laptops, two computer systems, 43 mobile phones, 17 passbooks, two cheque books, 14 debit cards, and Rs 1.6 lakh in cash.
