Patna, Sept. 13 -- A record 32,224 cases were settled through mutual agreement at the National Lok Adalat organised across the Patna Judicial Division under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).

Patna District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Secretary Jyoti Chandan said here on Sunday that the National Lok Adalat was held under the chairmanship of Patna Principal District and Sessions Judge and DLSA Chairperson Anamika T.

She said that, excluding traffic challan cases, 5,308 cases pending before courts were settled through mutual agreement, while another 1,619 pre-litigation cases were also disposed of.
