Bhubaneswar, May 23 -- The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation on Thursday reviewed the implementation of various social security and pension schemes in the city, with officials stating that more than 21,000 beneficiaries are currently receiving financial assistance under different welfare programmes.
The review was conducted during a meeting of the Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sub-Committee held at Ekamra Hall of the BMC headquarters.
