Lucknow, Oct. 30 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 24th installment of the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi from Banaskantha, Gujarat to aid the Uttar Pradesh farmer's, on Friday.
This amounted to Rs 18,690 crore transferred to the accounts of over 9.34 crore farmers across the country. More than 2.24 crore farmers in Uttar Pradesh benefited from this, receiving Rs 4,482.19 crore in their accounts.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath posted on X, expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister on behalf of the farmers for this gift before Diwali.
