Dhading, Feb. 23 -- So far, over 19 people have been reported killed and 25 others injured in Dhading, forming what is considered one of Nepal's worst road accidents in months. The accident reportedly occurred when a passenger bus plunged off the Prithvi Highway into the Trishuli River in Dhading district in the very early hours of Monday.
The bus - plate identified as (Ga 2 Kha 1421) - was travelling to the capital Kathmandu from Pokhara at night, when it suddenly veered off the road at Bhainsegaunda in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-5 at around 1:30 AM and fell approximately 200 metres down to the riverbank, according to the District Police Office, Dhading, reports Himalayan Times.
