Bhubaneswar, April 11 -- More than 15 passengers were injured, some critically, when a speeding truck collided head-on with a state-run OSRTC Volvo bus in Odisha's Koraput district early Friday, police said.
The accident occurred around 3 am near Suki Ghati while the vehicles navigated a sharp curve. The impact caused the bus to overturn and plunge nearly 50 feet down a slope.
Local residents, along with police and fire brigade teams, rushed to the scene and rescued the injured passengers, who were taken to the Pottangi Community Health Centre for treatment.
