Tirumala, April 1 -- A total of 12,235 devotees trekked Tumburu Theertha mukkoti, located in deep woods and in the steep valley of Seshachala ranges in Tirumala on Tuesday and Wednesday on the auspicious occasion of Pournami.
TTD has made elaborate arrangements of Annaprasadam, buttermilk and water distribution besides security arrangements at Papavinasanam dam for the devotees trekking the tedious torrent path.
People suffering from chronic diseases, asthma, obesity and heart-related ailments and children below age of 12 were not allowed to trek.
Due to parking space constraints, APSRTC buses operated to transport devotees from Octopus Circle to Papavinasanam Dam.
