Godda(Jharkhand), Nov. 8 -- In a late-night operation, the Godda Mufassil police seized more than 12,000 litres of fake petrol from two tankers on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted the vehicles that were allegedly transporting illegal inflammable substances from Banka to Bihar via Sarkanda, Godda.
According to police sources, upon receiving the confidential information, a team led by Officer-in-Charge Anand Saha swiftly launched an operation. The police set up a checkpoint near Singhwahini Bridge on the Pakur-Godda main road.
