Panchkula, Aug. 31 -- More than 11 lakh farmers registered on Haryana's Meri Fasal Mera Byora (MFMB) portal during Kharif 2025, while 3.57 lakh farmers were registered under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) during the same season, the Haryana Assembly was informed on Monday.
Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana provided the figures in response to an unstarred question raised by Mullana MLA Pooja, who had sought district-wise details of farmers registered on the MFMB portal and under PMFBY, as well as information on whether the government had conducted any survey to determine the reasons for farmers not registering under the crop insurance scheme.
