Hyderabad, Dec. 22 -- More than 1.05 lakh compoundable cases were amicably settled across Telangana during the National Lok Adalat held on December 21, 2025, bringing significant relief to litigants and victims, particularly in cyber fraud cases.
The National Lok Adalat was formed by the Supreme Court with the objective of resolving disputes through mutual settlement and compounding of offences. In line with this initiative, the Telangana Police identified eligible compoundable cases, served notices to both parties and facilitated settlements from December 11 to 21.
A total of 1,05,182 cases were successfully disposed of during the Lok Adalat. These included 14,108 FIR cases, 215 Disaster Management Act cases, 55,497 e-petty cases, 31,599...
