Chandigarh, Oct. 24 -- A disturbing incident in Punjab's Mohali district has sparked widespread condemnation after a group of locals forced five teenage boys to strip and assaulted them for allegedly taking biscuits from a roadside stall without paying.
The confrontation unfolded late on October 21 near VIP Road in Zirakpur, where the victims, all aged between 15 and 17, were visiting the area while their families worked nearby.
Eyewitness accounts and footage circulating online show the boys being forced to remove their clothing in full public view, compelled to perform degrading acts on the street, and subjected to repeated blows with sticks.
