New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- The Outer District Police will strengthen community policing initiatives and establish a dedicated platform for senior citizens to facilitate regular interaction, feedback and welfare-oriented engagement, officials said on Friday.
The proposals were discussed during a District Level Committee meeting held at the Conference Hall of Pitampura Police Lines under the chairmanship of Lok Sabha MP Yogender Chandoliya, along with Mundka MLA Gajender Drall.
The meeting brought together senior police officers and 29 co-opted members representing business associations, resident welfare associations (RWAs), JJ clusters, industrialists, educational institutions, social workers and other civic stakeholders.
