Mumbai, July 19 -- Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde today hit back at the Opposition, claiming that it was using climate activist Sonam Wangchuk to create confusion and malign the Narendra Modi government as it had failed to level any corruption allegations against the Centre during its long tenure.

He further claimed that the Opposition was upset because it had been unable to make any credible corruption allegations against the Modi government.

"That is why Sonam Wangchuk has been brought forward and an entire controversy has been created," he alleged.
