New Delhi, April 19 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has hit out at the Congress, Samajwadi Party and other opposition parties, alleging that they had already decided 'not to' support women by rejecting more representation by them in the country's legislatures.

She questioned the opposition parties' intent, alleging that they are not in favor of more women coming forward as leaders, apart from those from their own families.

Following defeat in the Lok Sabha of the Bill for accelerating the 33 per cent women's reservation on Friday, Gupta said that the women were raising their voice, seeking equality, but the opposition sees nothing, but politics in this.
