Hyderabad, Nov. 27 -- Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy on Thursday hit out at opposition parties, accusing them of spreading misinformation over the state's Industrial Policy.
Speaking at the 'Face-to-Face with Ministers' programme at Gandhi Bhavan, where he received public petitions and reviewed complaints with officials, he said the objective behind the new policy was to reduce pollution and gradually shift industries beyond city limits.
He clarified that the government's intent is to make Hyderabad cleaner and globally competitive, and the relocation of industries outside the ORR is part of that long-standing demand.
