Ranchi, April 11 -- Allegations of financial mismanagement, treasury withdrawals and delay in salary payments have triggered a sharp exchange between the BJP, Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) in Jharkhand.
Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi has sought a CBI or judicial probe into alleged illegal withdrawals from the state treasury, claiming the issue points to wider irregularities across multiple districts.
The BJP has also alleged that salary payments to government employees have been delayed due to financial mismanagement, with party spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo questioning the state's fiscal position and expenditure priorities.
