Thiruvananthapuram, July 5 -- Kerala Police has intensified its anti-narcotics drive by launching a statewide crackdown on DJ parties and other entertainment events under 'Operation Toofan', aiming to curb drug abuse and trafficking among youngsters.
As part of the operation, District Police Chiefs have been directed to step up surveillance and conduct surprise inspections at DJ parties, beach gatherings, resorts, hotels, clubs, and other venues where narcotics are suspected to be used or supplied.
