Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 6 -- As many as 10,883 people have been arrested and 10,070 cases registered across Kerala so far under Operation Toofan, the Kerala Police's ongoing drive against drug-related activities.
The arrests were made during inspections conducted at various places across the State as part of the operation. With 39 more people arrested in 34 cases on the previous day, the total number of cases registered under Operation Toofan has risen to 10,070.
Police have so far seized 23,438.746 grams of MDMA, 1,214.354 kg of ganja and 4,738.269 grams of hashish oil as part of the operation.
