Itanagar, May 31 -- The East Siang Police, under the ongoing Operation Dawn 2.0, apprehended a woman allegedly involved in drug peddling and recovered suspected ganja during a search operation conducted at Oyan village under Sille-Oyan Police Station.
According to police, the operation was launched on Friday following credible information received regarding the illegal sale of suspected ganja in the village. Acting on the input, a police team was constituted under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police and in-charge of the Anti-Drug Squad (ADS) Ayup Boko.
