New Delhi, July 18 -- Delhi Police recovered 76 stolen vehicles and apprehended 11 alleged auto-lifters, including three juveniles in conflict with law, during a 72-hour district-wide anti-vehicle theft drive in the Outer district, officials said on Saturday.
The Outer district police, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police Vikram Singh, conducted the three-day-long search and called it Operation CHAKRA. It involved personnel from the Anti Auto Theft Squad (AATS), police stations across the district and other specialised units.
