Bhopal, Jan. 7 -- A one-year-old boy died on an Air India Express flight from Jaipur to Bengaluru, even as the flight made a medical emergency landing at the Indore airport late Tuesday evening.
According to sources, the incident occurred in Air India Express flight IX1240, which took off from Jaipur at 5.30 pm. It was scheduled to reach Bengaluru at night, but the pilot requested a medical emergency landing at Indore.
The flight was made to land at the Indore airport at around 8 pm.
A team of doctors attended to the child, and identified the deceased as Mohammad Abraar.
Abraar was travelling with his parents and elder brother in the aircraft, when he experienced severe breathing problem during the flight.
