Badaun, April 16 -- A one-year-old child was abducted from a wedding ceremony in Badaun, causing panic among guests, sources said on Thursday.
The incident took place at Monarch Farm House on Sahaswan Road in Islamnagar.
The child, identified as Saurabh, was sleeping in a room while his mother attended the wedding function.
Around 12:30 AM on Thursday, an unidentified woman allegedly entered the room and took the child away.
The act was captured on CCTV footage, showing the woman leaving with the child.
The family searched for the child and later informed the police via the emergency helpline.
Police reached the spot and began an investigation by reviewing CCTV footage.
